Sonny’s Jumpy Over Chick Flick

Sonam’s jittery, Anil’s a bundle of nerves and Rhea’s kool! In short, that aptly sums up the ‘Aisha’ pre release psyche of the Kapoors.

Filming in Scotland for ‘Mausam’, Sonny Girl’s down with a sore throat… that however, hasn’t stopped her from voicing her concern over her forthcoming “chick flick.”

“Are girls liking it? Will you go to watch my film after seeing the promos?”… or so, goes the line of questioning that Sonny has been subjecting her scribe pals to.

‘Aisha’, a PVR Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film Company Presentation, helmed by Rajshree Ojha and headed for an August 6, 2010 release is based largely on the Jane Austen classic ‘Emma’.

With younger sibling Rhea in the co producer’s seat, Sonny reveals that they get along swell… except for the occasional tussle. “My sister’s very pragmatic, unlike me, and you can rely on her,” reveals Sonny Girl in a media quote. “We didn’t really have any creative differences, except for some fights when she accused me of stealing clothes from her wardrobe!”

Aisha’ s matchmaking skills in the flick form the major backbone of the storyline; query her on matrimony and Sonny asserts, “I’ll marry someone my parents approve of… at the same time I’m not someone who will go in for an arranged marriage.”
