Rekha Bites Serial Bait?
No talk show. No game show. No reality show. Though, word has it that…it’s gonna be show time for Ms. Bhanurekha Ganesan on television!
Oh yeah, talks of this nature have been intermittently buzzing the mediavine over the years. This time around, however, Rekha isn’t crying (telly) wolf. Or so, swear reliable sources.
Reportedly, the eternal enigma is all set to greenlight a TV serial!! Tentatively titled ‘Ganga Ki Deej’, and produced by Harry Baweja, the telly saga will feature Kabir Bedi cast as a Thakur. And though Rekha will be cast alongside him, her role is being kept strictly under those star wraps.
“I’ve already formulated what I want to do,” states Rekha in a tabloid quote. “It will be something entirely unique and not seen on television before. And until I decide on the channel and other details, I’d prefer to keep quiet on this issue. After all, the world is filled with clones, copycats and wannabes.”
