Ranchi Bombs inside dead bodies of jawans
The post-mortem of jawans killed in a Maoist attack in Latehar in Jharkhand was held up after doctors expressed fear that there were bombs inside the bodies.
Some of the bodies had stitches when they were brought to the hospital, hence the fear.
The Bomb Disposal Squad has arrived at the hospital to investigate the matter, reports said.
The CRPF’s 134 and 112 battalions and Jharkhand Jaguar personnel were engaged in the anti-Naxal operations when the encounter took place near Katila locality of Amuatikar village of Latehar district.
The toll in the deadly climbed to 17, as the Maoists booby-trapped the bodies with explosives which exploded subsequently causing the high casualty figure.
