Rajni turns robot in his next!

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Tamil superstar Rajnikanth launched the music of their forthcoming film ‘Endhiran’ here amid a grand musical extravaganza. Endhiran (Robot)` is a mega budget Tamil movie, touted to be one of the most expensive films ever made and is loaded with special effects.

Tamil superstar Rajnikant is learnt to be shooting the movie (previously titled Robot ) in Chennai nowadays. As per the original schedule, the film ought to have been shot in Kullu Manali at this time, but a change was made in the schedule because Ash is busy shooting Mani Ratnam’s bilingual film ‘Ravan’ with hubby Abhishek Bachchan in Kerala.

According to sources, Ash’s date diary went haywire after she had to postpone the shooting of Ratnam’s film in October due to the poor health and hospitalization of her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan .

Since Ash’s dates for Ratnam’s film were shifted back by a fortnight, it also affected the dates Ash had originally slotted for ‘Enthiran’.

Meanwhile, director Shankar seems to be in no mood to waste time. Instead of waiting for Ash, he has gone ahead and begun shooting the scenes that require Rajnikant only.
